&lt;p&gt;I have been having nightmare issues with TWO 8300 HD boxes. We are on our 5th one, and one of the original ones I added as a back up. Time Warner was out this morning, before I even opened my mouth, the tech TOLD me what was happening with my HD boxes, he was 100% right. The issue, the daylight savings time change end of March. Seems that Scientific Atlanta has NOT made adjustments to the HD boxes yet and MY tech had just come from three other complainers with the same issues. He said it's been 10 weeks since they have known about this issue, and until Scientific Atlanta fixes it, there is really nothing he could do. He recommended that I call TW and scream at them, demand two months credit and reduced rates til the service is corrected. I am going to do that now! Don't know if that helps YOU or not, but thought I'd throw it out there! Good luck to you.&lt;/p&gt;
